First off, I loved all the feedback I got on the last post. It’s always reading about other women’s experiences. We all have different and mostly hilarious stories.
After lots of thinking and going back and forth, I have decided to keep the baby’s gender a surprise. Maybe we’ll do things different with our second, but for the fun of it we’re going to wait and find out when the baby is born. I know it is going to be VERY hard for me, but I’m hoping that the not knowing will help me to have a shorter labor than 22 hours. Not that that would happen anyways- Mom is going to be there and I expect her to be my drill sergeant. Make sure I do plenty of walking and squatting to get the ball rolling. ;)
Paul asks me everyday if I feel the baby. It makes him excited yet bummed when I say yes because he really, really wants to feel his baby. It’ll happen before we know it! The days fly by for me it seems..
There’s so much more I could talk about, but I’m so tired.. Have a wonderful Sunday tomorrow!

Good for ya'll! Micah and I have loved the "surprise" of it all, and even though it makes some things more difficult, it has made this a fun and interesting 9 months. We'll see how the labor goes :/
ReplyDeleteI like that it will be a surprise. ppl hated that we never found out, but it is fun.
