My fourth pregnancy.  Another very different labor experience!

She was 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long.

This was my first labor where I actually went into labor on my own.  No inducing this time!  It was very different, but I loved it.  If you could "love" a labor experience.

I was not jacked up on Pitocin this time since I wasn't induced, so my contractions were not as extreme as what I am used to.  Also, they didn't come as often (with Pitocin they are right on top of each other for hours) so I just knew I would be in labor all day and I didn't want to do that.  This was the first time in any of my labors that I wanted drugs -- NOW.  My Mom and husband both told me that it was too late and she was coming!  My Mom said my face was in absolute shock.  I had no idea what was going on. :-)

Zoe, Max, and Titus absolutely adore their baby sister!  From the minute they met her they were so excited and have showered her with hugs and kisses.

I am so thankful for each of my beautiful children.  They are such a blessing to Paul and I!  I pray everyday that God will help us to be the parents we need to be, to raise them to love the Lord with all of their hearts.  When they grow up I pray they will continue to share the love of God to anyone and everyone they come in contact with.
