I was 14. He was 17.
Our dads were best friends growing up.
Our grandfathers were best friends growing up.
How the heck did we not know each other before?!
Of course, I was too young to like boys at 14. But two years down the road, we saw each other again when I was 16 and he was 19.. we kind of grew up on each other so when we saw each other again after so long.. let's just say it was love at first sight.
Unfortunately he lived in Montana and I lived in Arizona, but we knew that we were meant to be together. We were in a long-distance relationship for 2 years.
Then, one day, my beloved moved to where I was and we soon were engaged. We were happily married on February 29, 2008.

It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to -- it just happened to be my own. ♥
Now we have a four children, two bachelors degrees, and a mortgage! So much has happened since saying "I do" and I wouldn't have it any other way!
