First day of Spring

It's the first day of Spring and we are celebrating with large, fluffy snowflakes falling to the ground.  Sounds about right, right?  The kids don't seem to mind.  They're too busy being watching shows, reading books, and playing with toys.  A perfect snow day.

I took the kids to Story Time yesterday.  Now that the weather is getting a little warmer I don't shudder whenever I think about taking them in the morning.  We were actually a little early so the kids snuggled up in the Story Time lady's chair and read a book about Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Our Story Time lady is so cool!  When she noticed them sitting in her chair she sat herself down on the floor and let them read to her for a little while.  They got a kick out of that!

We enjoyed listening to stories about the first day of Spring and then all the kids did a craft.  I forgot to take a picture of their flowers because I was letting them dry in the car, but they are super cute and I think all three pictures will be displayed on the refrigerator.

Earlier in the week the weather was nice enough to play with sidewalk chalk.  This is Titus' first time being outside for the most part and he loves it!  He loves to run with the kids and color on the sidewalk.

Zoe is old enough to ride a bike this year!  She absolutely loves it!  I am already working on Paul hoping that he will agree that Zoe and Max need brand new bicycles this year.  I'll let you know how that goes! :-)

I have been doing a lot of reading and I would love to have a little garden this year.  I have talked so much about it that I think Paul is even on board and would be willing to help me out.  I do not have a green thumb at all, but I'm hoping that with all the reading I have been doing lately I will have a better shot.  I just think it would be fun to grow a few things and let the kids help me out.  Zoe is so ready to grow flowers and I know my boys would love to help play in the dirt!  We will see how it goes.

I think that's about all the exciting news I have right now...

Oh, tomorrow I will be 31 weeks pregnant!  It seems like this pregnancy is flying by for me and I am so thankful!  God has been so merciful on me this pregnancy.  Not only has it flown by, but I feel healthy and I can still move around pretty well.  God is good!

Happy first day of Spring!
