Our neighbor across the street is a retired marine. The American flag is up and ready at dawn, and when the sun sets each night he takes it down and rolls it up nicely till the next day and he does it all over again.
His Dodge truck is decked out in Semper Fi, American flags, and in bold letters in the back he has the saying above. He is proud to be an American, and he was proud to serve.
I am very thankful to all the men and women who gave their life for our freedom. What a heroic sacrifice.
Someone else gave their life for our freedom, but most importantly He gave his life for our salvation.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
We have so much to be thankful for! For Jesus Christ, and for our fallen military.
