What a nightmare!

My water broke and I was all alone.  I tried calling my husband who was at work, no answer.  My mother-in-law, sister-in-law.. no answer.  So I went to the hospital myself.

I went through the delivery all by myself- boy was it hard!  I didn't know what I was doing and no one to coach me.  After delivery the lactation consultant came in to teach me how to breastfeed.  I got tired of her flashing her boobs at me and not showing me how to work my own, so I finally told her off and demanded she leave my room.  I figured it out myself, thank you very much!

I only spent a few hours at the hospital.  I was able to go home with my beautiful baby girl.  She is perfect..  Perfect baby skin, perfect hair, she is just the most beautiful baby I have ever seen in my life!

What's the first thing you do when you leave the hospital with your newborn baby?  Go to Walmart!  I knew my husband would be hungry when he got off work so I figured I would buy something that I could just pop in the oven.

I went to the frozen food section, and who rounds the corner, my husband, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and all the kids.  I was so flipping mad!  I drove my cart right up to my husband and said, "By the way, I had a baby."  He looked at me and said, "Oh, is she cute?"

Jesus help me..

Everyone crowded over her car seat and just looked at her.  I got a oh-she's-cute remark and then they started heading to the electronics.  I took my beautiful daughter home, locked the doors, and enjoyed her all by myself.

Thank God it was a nightmare!
