Woke up one morning and found a belly

After our doctor’s appointment this morning Paul and I looked at the pictures I’ve taken so far since this pregnancy. Some say that taking a weekly picture is pointless since not much happens in one week. I beg to differ.

(I tried making these pictures smaller but it didn't work. Click on them to see the full picture.)

That’s just in one week! It’s like I woke up one morning and BAM! there was a belly! I need to take another one today since I’m 19 weeks now. I am wearing the same blue striped shirt though.

I just wish my mom was here to be with me and my first baby. My mom is my best friend (other than my husband) and it kills me that I’m so far away.. There are so many things I want to depend on her for and I feel like I can’t. Talk about growing up overnight. Sometimes life seems unfair when you think about it.. But I know I have so much to be thankful for. I know I have my own natural instincts that will kick in at the right time.

I can’t write too many endearing paragraphs like that or I get emotional.

Even though I have “lonely” days where I miss home, God is truly blessing Paul’s and my life. There is so much He is doing right now- it’s amazing. I am really thankful.

  2. It does happen over night. I so know how you feel about wanting your mom there. And it doesn't get easier when the little one is born. And you want his/her grandparents and family around. And they cry when the see them because they don't know them very well. BUT with GOD'S help you will get threw it. I still have "lonely" days. And I have been away for along time.

On a lighter note I like the new layout!
