Memories, sweet memories.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It was so nice to be able to sleep in. That was the best sleep I’ve had in awhile. I missed the parade. Too bad. But I needed those extra winks.

Paul and I headed to Kirby and Nancy’s to help out with the last bit of cooking that needed done before Uncle Andy and Aunt Della and the kids got in. When they all got in Uncle Andy deep fried our turkey. Ever heard of it? I didn’t, but it was some of the best turkey I’ve ever had! Pictures will be soon. :)

With all of the commotion Nancy forgot to watch the sweet potatoes and caught them on fire. I wish I had a picture of everyone huddled around the oven blowing on those flames. It was priceless!

We had 20 people gathered around two tables. Sure it was noisy, but you gotta love having family around. I know I do.

NOW IT’S TIME TO DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!! Paul and I are even almost done with our shopping! I’m excited. :) Now just give me your mailing address so I can mail you a Christmas card!

I’m off to bed now. I’m going to work while my husband shops for deals early tomorrow morning. :)

  1. I started my Christmas shopping super early this year. I had all my gifts bought that need to be mailed... And here they sit, still in my house. I wanted to get them mailed before the rush at the Post Office... A lot of good that did.
