This was meant for yesterday..

So pretend it's still Valentine's Day ok?!

I was on the phone with my mom the other day and I told her I wondered if spring was around the corner. I knew that as soon as I spoke the words they would bite me. In less than 24 hours Havre was dumped with a fresh, new blanket of snow- and 0 degree weather. Oh boy..

This morning I woke up and gave my valentine a box of chocolates and a hoops&yoyo card. It was romantic. :) In return I received a beautiful bouquet of roses and daisies, a “prince charming” frog, and a hoops&yoyo card. Forget the chocolates! I’ll never eat them. :) My husband knows me too well! I really enjoyed my day with my funny valentine. We ran away to the city and enjoyed some shopping at the mall, Ross, Target, and Famous Footwear. Ate a delicious dinner at On The Border and then headed home. We’re now home and I’m being serenaded. :) I really love my Valentine’s Day! It’s perfect.

As Paul sings “One White Tulip” I can’t help but tear up.. it always does that to me. :) We all live one beautiful life. No matter how much we change, no matter how many kisses and tears we all share.. it’s a beautiful life. And, if we’re lucky, our beautiful lives will spill over and make new lives! ;) I guess that’s my Valentine’s speech for the night.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day with the ones you love. I’m going to enjoy my man singing with his guitar now.. ♥
