Can’t keep it a secret any longer..

I want to share with you Paul’s and my ultimate Christmas miracle. On December 4, the day that was supposed to be our due date, Paul and I went out to dinner. I thought it would be a horrible day for me, but it was in fact the opposite. Many times before I’d say I felt God’s peace, but nothing compared to the peace and comfort I felt on that day.

I told Paul that for the first time in my life, and this says a lot about me, I felt patience while trying to have a baby. Paul told me those were the magic words that God wanted to hear. We laughed at that, not realizing how true that would be..

The day after our due date we found out that I am pregnant again. I just decided to pick up a dollar store pregnancy test and see what it says. I was so shocked when I immediately saw two pink lines! I sent a picture of it to Paul and he immediately texted me back asking if that was what he thought it was.

I went to Sherwin Williams as soon as I could, and as soon as Paul and I saw each other we hugged each other close and cried. We were, and still are, so very thankful for God’s blessing. His miracle. His loving us so much He answered a little prayer request..

My due date is August 4, 2010. I will be 8 weeks on Monday. Paul and I wanted to wait until I was in my second trimester before we made it public because of what happened last time, but we felt like we were robbing God of His praises for our miracle.

We are so thankful for the Lord and His blessings! No matter what happens, God is in control. Keep us in your prayers!
