Bacon Cheeseburger Soup



There's something about chilly, rainy days that make me want to eat soup!  I'm not sure why I love soup so much...but I do!  So I looked at what I had in the kitchen and started thinking.. I almost gave up because I didn't think I had anything for soup.  Boy was I wrong!

 

I had some turkey bacon left over (it was on sale. eh.) and I had some ground beef.  I always have cheese..  Hmm..

 

So I cooked my "bacon."

 

 

I then added diced onions and minced garlic.

 

I browned my hamburger.

 

I added salt, pepper, and this special seasoning...

 

I had a couple potatoes so I cut them up and threw them in.

And I threw in this block of cheese!

 

Just kidding.  I shredded it first.

 

I mad a roux for thickening.

 

 

And voila!  Bacon cheeseburger soup!

 

It was pretty delicious.  Paul loved it too -- and he said he doesn't even care for soup!  I'm doing my best to be the next Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. :-)

 

I absolutely love cooking!  Tomorrow we are going to a BBQ and I'm thinking about what I should bring, and we have a potluck on Sunday that I'm excited about too!  Guess what I'm making?

Father's Day weekend

It's not very often I can capture my three little ones sitting together nicely.  Titus is either sleeping or crying for me to hold him, and Zoe and Max are normally beating each other up!  So here are a couple really good ones that I have taken recently and wanted to share!

 

 

Titus is getting to the stage where he is really interacting with the kids and they are so excited that he comes to play sometimes!  This was his first time in the princess tent and he seemed to enjoy it!  Zoe was definitely excited!  She brought her babies and some books and threw a little party with her brothers.

 

Paul had this past Saturday and Sunday off so I wanted to make sure we made it special!  Saturday morning Paul, with the help of our neighbor, put up some posts for a fence, and then the rest of the afternoon we hung out at the mall.

 

For Saturday's dinner we tried a new recipe -- Philly cheesesteak stuffed peppers.  One word: AMAZING!

 

That tiny picture above shows our dinner before we put the cheese on top.  If anyone likes Philly Cheesesteaks, I highly suggest trying this meal!

 

Sunday morning, Father's Day, the kids and I let Paul sleep in for a little while.  That was a gift to him.  Seriously.  Then we woke him up with cards and presents!

 

Unfortunately church was canceled because so many were sick in bed.  So Paul and I decided, along with Daniel and Rylee, to go down to Great Falls and spend the day in the city!  We all found some great deals and shared a lot of laughs!

 

There is a new Japanese Steakhouse down there that we decided to try.  Mostly because we heard they cook right at your table!  It was such a fun experience!  This was our chef.  He was SO funny!  He was nervous about starting a big fire because of the kids, but we told him to go ahead and give us a show.  I really wish I would have thought to video!  The fire was HUGE and Max was trying to climb out of his highchair screaming like crazy!  Even Zoe plugged her ears worried it would be loud!  It was pretty funny.

 

All of the food was delicious!  Paul ordered California rolls and I gave it a shot.  I was surprised that I kind of liked it!

 

Like I already said, the food was fantastic!  Even my picky eaters enjoyed their food!

I know it's a little fuzzy, but here we all are!  It really was a great day!

 

I am so thankful for the father that Paul is to our children.  Every evening when he comes home they run to give him hugs.  Zoe and Max are to the age where he can wrestle with them, play with them at the park, we can hold little conversations with them.. I can tell Paul really enjoys being around his kids.  He is such a great dad!  I love you, Paul!

 

The days are definitely getting hotter and I love it!  The kids and I are spending more and more time outside.  We have a pool now, so I made sure to buy baby floaties for all three of my little ones.  I look forward to enjoying my summer in the pool!

 

I also have been taking the kids and we try to walk Hurley everyday.  I'm sure I'm a sight to see!  I have Titus strapped to my body, Zoe and Max are sharing a one-seated stroller, and I'm walking a hyper active puppy!  Haha!  I walk 1.5 miles, though!  It's one way to lose weight.

 

These busy summer days take their toll on little ones, don't they?  Just a couple days ago Max couldn't even make it to his bed before he passed out!  I thought it was adorable!

 

I just took this yesterday.  We are in the summer reading program at our local library, and ever since then we have read A LOT.  Even when I can't read to them, they "read" to themselves. :-)  Zoe is reading Bible stories while Max is reading about monster birthday parties. Ha!

 

This just happened last night!  Max got his second haircut. :-)  I wish his hair would stay kinky curly like it was in Arkansas, because he really does have beautiful hair!  But we decided he needed a trim.

 

He sure is a handsome boy!  I melted when I saw him running through the mall afterward.  He is SO cute!  He enjoyed looking at himself in the mirror!

 

I think that catches me up for awhile! :-)

How 'bout now?

 

Yesterday I spent the day with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and we prepared the pies.  It was a lot of work -- especially since I was keeping track of three little ones AND trying to help.  It was a lot of fun, though!  I absolutely love the holidays!

 

Tomorrow Paul will be getting up early to go hunting.  I will also be getting up early, getting kids ready, and going over to the inlaws' again to prepare the turkey.

 

I look forward to watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade with my little ones.

 

Eventually football will be the background noise for the remainder of the day.

 

The house is going to soon make people feel like they're going crazy with the smells of the cooking turkey, green bean casserole, corn pudding, stuffing, etc.

 

When we're all stuffed and cannot eat another bite, maybe we can all go out and play football in the yard.

(I haven't played football on Thanksgiving in YEARS!)

 

After a great game we may feel like we can eat just a LITTLE bit more, so we'll venture back into the house and either enjoy another piece of pie or we decide to eat the first of many turkey sandwiches.

 

AND...

 

The perfect end to a perfect day would be to gather 'round and watch a holiday classic of our choice.  We shall see.

This year I decided I need to be brave and finally learn the inevitable.

 

I need to learn to cook a turkey.

 

I talked about it with my mother-in-law and told her I need to learn now when I have guidance from someone else than wait till we live on our own and I have to figure it out and most likely ruin Thanksgiving.

 

My mother-in-law is brave too.  She's gonna let me do it!  Ha!

 

To be honest, I am pumped!  I am so excited to give it a shot!  I just hope and pray it all works out. =)

 

I would post more about how I love this time of year and great, fuzzy things like that...but I have a naked two-year-old running around the house, a screaming one-year-old in the high chair that ran out of food, and a grumpy three-week-old that thinks he's starving to death. =)

 

I absolutely, love, love, love my life!

So I didn't do very well on organizing over the weekend.  On Saturday I enjoyed hanging out with my cousin -- we went and checked out the new Rue 21 Etc! that opened this past week at the mall.  I think I'm going to love that store.. once I am no longer pregnant.  One more thing to make me eager to pop this baby out! =D  I don't get anything done on Sundays.  Ever.  It's Paul's one day off so we take advantage of it!

So now it's Monday.  TODAY I will work on organizing all of the clothes and getting rid of half!  I'll take pictures of my piles for the nosey ones who would like to see. =)

Because I have a lot to do around this house thanks to the weekend, AND I plan on going through everyone's clothes, I found a recipe that will be slow cooking in the crock pot.  This is cheesy chicken, bacon and tater tot bake.  Doesn't it look yummy?  I thought so.

Chicken Taco Soup: First attempt

Some of you may know I'm addicted to Pinterest right now.  I don't fully understand what all the website is for, but I love looking at all of the random pictures.  Some of the pictures have even given me great ideas!  For those of you who don't know what Pinterest is, click HERE.

I was scrolling along the other day and came upon a picture with these ingredients:

• Can of Rotel
• Can of corn
• Can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
• 2 frozen chicken breasts
• 8 oz cream cheese
• Packet of dry ranch dressing
• 1 tbspn cumin
• 1tspn onion powder
• 1 tspn chili powder

Cook 6-8 hours, shred chicken, enjoy!

That's all it said.  The picture looked amazing, and it seemed simple enough.  I memorized the ingredients and went to the store.  I remembered everything I needed except for the onion powder.  I got garlic powder instead.  BUT!  I happened to have onion salt, so I went ahead and added 1 tspn garlic powder and then added maybe half a tspn of onion salt.  Make sense?

Now, the picture didn't say anything about what to use for broth.  After I got home I realized I didn't have any chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, nothing.  So I improvised!  I used milk.  I don't know if that's what you're supposed to do for soups or not, but it worked.

I cut up my chicken into bite sizes and threw everything in my crockpot for about 3 hours and it was delish!  The whole family loved it and went back for seconds.  I can't wait to make it again so I can improve it!

One of those days

 

I don't mean to complain, but I've been having one of those days.  As a matter of fact, it's slowly turning into one of those weeks!  Don't worry, this won't be a woe-is-me kind of post.  I always try to find humor in everything that's going on in my life, but to be perfectly honest, I'm almost getting to the point of hysterical laughter and an eye twitch.  Won't I be funny to watch at my next Walmart trip?!

I'm totally kidding by the way.  The past couple of days have not been the best for me, but they could always be worse.  I'm still in a good mood (for the most part) and at the end of the day Paul and the kids always have me laughing!

We all fall into ruts here and there, though.  No biggie.  Life goes on!

How do you cope when having a bad day?  I just indulged in a couple of Reeses cups and now I feel like a heffer.  Maybe I'll take my babies and go for a walk up at the mall.  The chocolate made me feel better, though.

Sometimes we go around the house naked -- especially if it's 104 outside! =)

Zoe can now pull herself up to standing.  She is VERY proud of herself!  After I took this picture she walked herself around the toy box and pulled most of those DVDs off the shelf.  She leaned her little belly against the toy box so she was pretty much standing on her own and didn't realize it.  Silly girl!

Last night we took Zoe to the fair for the very first time.  We didn't ride any rides, obviously, but we ate plenty of yummy fair food!  Pronto pups, cheese fries, cokes, scones, etc.  Paul and I had more fun than Zoe, but that's ok.

I can't believe how much she has grown!  It's crazy to watch your own baby grow up before your eyes..

Well that was fun!

I forgot to let you all know ahead of time, but this past week Paul and I went to our very first Family Camp with our little family.  Actually, it was our first long road trip with Zoe so we were a little nervous as to how she would do.  But we packed her plenty of baby snacks, toys, and Jack Johnson.  Which reminds me, I need to get more of his albums because the two I have are now really, really, really old to me..

Zoe did great being cooped up in her carseat for 9+ hours.  She talked to herself or slept the entire way.  The only time she fussed was when she was hungry or poopy.  By the time we actually got to the lodge, though, she was very happy to be out of the car -- just like the rest of us.

I wish I would have taken more pictures than I did.  Zoe was the most popular baby I have ever seen.  Everyone loved holding her -- young and old.  She now has lots of best friends, adopted grandparents, and little boyfriends.  It's great!

During the whole week Zoe was so good and didn't cry -- except for one time.. I took her food away. =\  Everyone made sure to let me know that she was amazingly good for her age.  I am so thankful.  I don't know what I did to deserve it, but THANK YOU GOD!!!

Camp was a blast, but I'm glad to be home. =)  By the end I was emotionally and physically exhausted.  It's going to take me a few days to recoop from everything and feel 100% again.  But it was worth it.  There were a lot of great kids that touched my heart and I hope to see them all again next year!

But until then, it's back to the daily grind for me.  I already worked since being home, now it's time to go to the grocery store and then head home to unpack and clean my house.  I have 9 days to get my house spotless before my FAMILY comes to visit!  I can't wait!!

What is it about Saturdays?

I feel so bad for my husband because he has to work every. Saturday. of. his. life.  I think because I know he has to work on such a lazy day, I choose to work just as hard around the house that way he doesn't feel like I get to rest and he doesn't.  I say this on a Saturday that I am not home and instead I am at his parent's house on the internet.  ::nervous laugh::

I have good reason to be here, though.  I am putting together a resume -- something I have no clue how to do -- and I need to test myself to see how many words I can type per minute.  The reason for doing this is because I am applying for a little job that I can work from home.. using internet which will mean we have to get it at our house.

Mmhmm.. that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

I hate testing myself.  Supposedly I type 45 words per minute, but I know that I type faster when I try to keep up with my mind instead of trying to copy a stupid paragraph with words I rarely use.  But whatever.  I enjoy the challenge!

Tonight our pastor and his wife will be taking us out.  We are going to the new Mexican restaurant that opened yesterday.  The only Mexican we have in Havre is Taco Time and Taco John's.  So we are very, very excited!!

Bringing the new year in with a BANG!

After ringing in the new year eating junk food and playing with the new Xbox Kinect, Paul and I were ready to go home.  We had a lot of fun, but we were ready for bed -- especially Zoe.  I'm used to staying up late, but it seemed like as soon as the clock struck twelve my eyes got really heavy.

As we were heading home we realized that we were driving into a blackout.  It was the craziest thing driving down the street and all of a sudden there be no lights; houses, traffic lights, even street lights were not on for blocks.  Looking down the neighborhoods was pretty eery.  You couldn't see a thing!

The farther we drove the more serious the situation became to me.  I started praying that we had power at our house because I just wanted to go to bed and sleep.  As we neared our house I was relieved because it looked like we were the first street to have lights right next to the blackout.

Nope.  It wasn't our street.  That was the street behind us.

Obviously Paul and I were a little bummed out about the situation.  We decided to drive around to see if we could find the source of this.. situation.  It seemed like half the town of Havre had no power, though I'm sure that is not the case.  We never did find out the reason for such a huge portion of town to be powerless.

Eventually we came back home.  After much thinking we decided to brave the lack of heat and just go to bed.  With it being -20 out we were a little nervous, but we figured if it got too bad we'd bum a couple sleeping bags in a living room of a loving family member.

We turned the faucets on so our pipes wouldn't freeze, I turned on my bedside lamp so whenever the power would come on I would know and be able to turn off all water.  We piled a bunch of blankets on the bed and all 3 of us snuggled close.  I was so wired from the power not being on that I could not sleep.  The power finally came on around 2:30 and I was so relieved!  We turned the faucets off and tried to get some sleep.  For reals this time.

I tossed and turned all night.  Every time I slightly dozed off I would dream random dreams that involved keeping Zoe warm -- and no power.  ARGH!  I finally dozed off around 6:00 in the morning and got about 3 hours of sleep.

Happy. Stinking. New Year.

Other then that, we had a great night!  Paul and I are excited about what will happen in the year 2011.  Maybe the new year will bring a second baby?  There are endless possibilities!  All I know is that God is going to bless us and in everything that happens, good or bad, we will depend on the Lord.  I hope you do the same!

Oh, and just for the record, Xbox Kinect is not for the weak hearted!  Just sayin'.

Workin' Momma

It looks like I am starting a new chapter in my life.  Something I know I will do well at, but at the same time I feel so intimidated by it..  I got a job.  Kind of.

I applied for a freelance writing position through Suite 101 last night.  This morning I checked my email, and wouldn't you know it, they already contacted me saying I had been accepted.  So in between Story Time and baking cookies for our local church's cookie exchange I have been reading all of their tutorials to make sure I'm ready to start writing articles.

Any little help money-wise will be much appreciated around here -- though this job will not make us millionaires by any means!  It won't earn much in the beginning, but after awhile it may pay off.  Either way, I think it will be fun to write articles!

I love to write about all kinds of things (obviously) so we'll see how well I do.  Wish my luck!

I'm also curious to see how well I do while taking care of a baby.  At first I'll do most of my articles at my MIL's house since she has internet, but eventually I will be on my own..

I CAN DO IT!  I AM WOMAN!  HEAR ME ROAR!

Zoe is getting so much better at hanging out on the floor with her toys so I'm sure she'll do just fine.  I'll take breaks to feed her or put her down for a nap and then back to writing.  I can do this!  It should be fun.

Oh, I'm baking cow pies for the cookie exchange tonight!  Doesn't that sound appetizing?  When they're done I'll have to take a picture.  I think they're going to turn out pretty yummy.  I may have just found a new secret recipe..

Let me explain.. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.

In case anyone is interested, I did tidy my house, I did wrap all of the presents, and I did watch one more Christmas movie before Christmas was officially over.  So there you go. :)

Also, Paul and I have come to a decision.  It was a hard pill to swallow for some, but we decided to bring the pacifier back.  Here's our proof.

Just for the record, Paul and I have nothing against the pacifier.  The reason why we took away in the first place was because we spent more time keeping it in her mouth than she did herself.  I spent hours, literally, keeping it in her mouth during the night because she would accidentally spit it out and want it leaving us both exhausted and slightly crabby.

It didn't take long and she forgot about it, but lately something else took it's place.  She started doing something that I absolutely despised.  She became a thumb sucker.  At first I thought she was simply chewing on her hands, but yesterday Paul and I realized that she deliberately puts her thumb in her mouth.  We counted, and she did it 25 times.. in a row.

So we brought the pacifier back.  I refuse to have a thumb sucker.  It's unsanitary and just plain gross.  You can throw a pacifier away.. not a thumb.

On to more exciting news..  Christmas was absolutely lovely!  It was Zoe's first Christmas and I think she loved it!  Here are some pictures.. mostly of Zoe.

We hardly ever have any pictures of just us anymore so I had Paul take a quick snapshot on Christmas Eve.  This is us in a nutshell, don't you think?  Paul looking like his Uncle Steve and me laughing at how crazy he is.  I absolutely love this man!

Here is Zoe, Christmas morning, trying out one of her gifts from Mommy and Daddy.  He first tea set!  I don't know who loves it more -- Mommy or Zoe.  The teapot sings catchy tunes.  I can see Zoe in the future.  I'm sure she'll memorize those songs and sing away pouring tea for her stuffed animals.

Here is Zoe with her stocking from Santa Claus.  I absolutely love this picture!  She is such a smilie kid.  She was so interested in everything that was going on.  Her arms and legs were constantly going because she was so excited!  She got her first cans of baby food, and we let her try pears for the first time.  It was pretty hilarious!  It gave her the heebie jeebies every time she took a bite.  I have a feeling she will be like her dad and enjoy sour things because even though every bite gave her the willies, she kept accepting bites.

Here is Zoe opening a Christmas gift.  Like I said before, she was so excited!  She did such a good job ripping the paper -- for a 5 month old.  She also showed interest in all of her gifts.  I think she loves all of them!  I'm so glad.

Later Christmas night Zoe and I had our first tea party.  She really showed interest and watched my every movement.  It made me so happy to watch her "play" the best she could.

In this picture right here I see an addiction to caffeine just like her mom. :)  Can you see it?  I wonder who will break first and give her a sip of their coffee.  Me?  One of the Grams?  I remember my great grandmother sneaking me some sips of her coffee.  My aunt did as well!  I thank them for my addiction. :)

Here's the last picture for tonight.  The cute little teapot!  Did I mention that I love her toys?  We need to buy her a toy box now.  She has plenty of toys now so it's time.  ::squeal::  Who knew that buying a toy box would be so exciting?!

So there you go!  Zoe's first Christmas was a lot of fun -- for all of us!  I know that Christmases are going to be amazing here on out thanks to having children.  It's so much fun to watch their excitement.

Well, Christmas is over and the new year is just around the corner.  It's time to take down the decorations and start making a list of new resolutions.

What are your New Year's Resolutions?

I have decided to make changes in my life, but I am not waiting till the new year to start!  I decided to register at MyFitnessPal and start keeping track of my calorie intake, my workouts, etc.  Of course as soon as I decide to change my eating habits I am constantly hungry -- but don't worry!  I have written down everything I've eaten/drank today and I'm doing well.  I even burned some calories by cleaning vigorously.  Bonus!

As soon as the dreaded snow is melted away it's back to walking.  Oh, now that I have an iPod (thank you honey!) I would like to try and run.  Paul was telling me that in order to start I need to jog until I feel tired and then walk for awhile.. till I have energy again and then pick up jogging.  I think I can do it!  I want to..

There is so much more I could write about, but I'm worried I'm boring my fans.  So I'll leave off here. :)  I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Who am I kidding?!

Ok, so you know how in my previous post how I said we need to relax and enjoy family during this holiday season.. well, I haven't really done that yet.  ::ahem::  I feel like I'm running around in circles which means nothing is getting done!

No baking, my house is still a wreck, I have not wrapped one present, I didn't get to watch any of the classic Christmas movies, the list goes on..

So what have I been doing?  That is the million dollar question!!!!  I'm losing my mind.  That's it in a nutshell.

It's time to whip up a list..

• Tidy the house -- I would love to say clean the house but we don't have time for that right now.  I just need to tidy up the worst of it and then we'll worry about really cleaning on Monday, December 27.
• Wrap all of the presents -- I would love to put everything in gift bags because I really am not a fan of wrapping presents.  I honestly don't have the patience for it.  But I make myself wrap presents for Christmas.  It shows that I love you enough to wrap a present for you!
• I did watch Holiday Inn for the first time today.  It was pretty good, but I'm used to watching White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life pretty much everyday leading up to Christmas.  Not to mention the kid's classics; Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, etc.  Can you believe I do not own one Christmas movie?  I should be drug out into the street and shot.
• Baking.. ah baking..  I'll do it in my spare time.

You may be asking yourself, "Self, why is Grace posting her list for all the world to see?"  My answer is this -- why not?!  Now I have a million people (not really, close to 2,000) watching to see if I really did work on my list!  Perfect idea!

As for tonight, Paul and I are trying a new recipe to bring to church this evening.  Have you ever tried the loaded queso from On The Border?  It's pretty much amazing!  We're going to try and make it ourselves -- with our own little twists.  Wish us luck!

If you don't hear from me before Christmas, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your family and friends!  Remember the reason for the season!  I plan on reading the story of Jesus' birth to Zoe on Christmas Eve before bed.  Traditions have to start somewhere, right?

Talk about heebie jeebies

We gave Zoe rice cereal for the first time last night.  I think the look on her face tells you what she thought of it.

Paul and I laughed so hard watching her try this stuff for the first time!  Whenever we would give her a bite she would get the funniest look on her face, and then out of nowhere she would get the heebie jeebies.  We died from laughter!

I don't know what she thought to be honest, but we plan on giving it to her before bed from now on.  She slept nearly 9 hours straight!  Hallelujah!  It felt amazing..

"It doesn't show signs of stopping.."

It has snowed everyday since Tuesday and I don't think it will be letting up any time soon.  Our first snow is more like our first blizzard!

I try so very hard to wait till the day after Thanksgiving before singing/playing Christmas music.. but with all of this snow I just couldn't help it anymore!  Thanks to my Pandora app on my phone Zoe and I started our day with Christmas songs sung by Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, etc.

I don't know what's wrong with me!  I normally love Thanksgiving and the fall decor, but this year I'm chomping at the bit to tear everything down and start decorating for Christmas.  Even Paul, who is sometimes considered a bah humbug, is ready to start decorating- and is even listening to some Christmas music!

I wondered if it was because we have a child now, so we want to celebrate her first Christmas right now, but I know of others who feel the same way we do- and their kids are not newborns..

So what's the deal?

All I know is that I love this time of year!!  The happy music, Christmas stories, remembering the birth of Jesus (even though I know He wasn't born in December), decorating with all the lights and ornaments, the Christmas movies.. everything about this holiday is magical and joyous!

And yes, I'm very excited about celebrating Zoe's first Christmas!  She won't really know what's going on, but I don't care.  It will be fun all the same!  Though Paul and I don't have a lot of money right now, I know it will be very special for all of us!  We'll make it the best Christmas ever.. or the best Christmas until next year.  Ha!

I love how interested she is in things!  I want to take her out to experience snow first hand but it's pretty cold out there and I don't want her to not enjoy her first experience.  Maybe when it gets a little warmer I'll be brave enough to take her out to play.

In other news..

I bought rice cereal for Zoe last night!  I figured we would celebrate Zoe's 4 month birthday (which is in 5 days!) by having her try rice cereal with breast milk.  Don't worry- we'll make sure to video tape it so everyone- especially my parents- can see!  I'm so excited!  I know she's going to think it's weird at first since she hasn't anything but breast milk.. well, except for the ranch dressing thanks to her cousin Tom.. and the Oreo cookie kisses from cousin Emilie..  Other then that she hasn't had anything adventurous!  I hope she likes it.

The Newlywed Game

I saw this on Katie's blog and I just had to do it myself!  You're always curious to see how much your spouse knows about you.  After nearly 3 years of marriage, this is what Paul knows.. or doesn't know..

1. She's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen?

Paul: Teen Mom

So true!  So true!  I'm a sucker for reality TV shows, and Teen Mom is definitely my favorite.  I'm so addicted I actually buy the rag mags whenever I see one of the girls on the front cover..

2. You're out to eat, what kind of dressing does she get on her salad?

Paul: Ranch.

True! I didn't used to like ranch dressing, but now I use it on everything.

3. What's one food she doesn't like?

Paul: Seafood.

True!  I cannot stand seafood.  I know it's good for your brain and all that jazz.. but I can't make myself like it!

4. You go out to eat, what does she drink?

Paul: Cherry coke.

True! I love me some cherry coke with a delicious (fancy) dinner!

5. What is her shirt size?

Paul: Large.

True.. unfortunately..  The bosoms make it impossible to wear anything smaller.

6. What is her shoe size?

Paul: 7 1/2 - 8

True!  It depends on the shoe..

7. What is her favorite type of sandwich?

Paul: Turkey.

True!  I love a good turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.. as well as cheese, mayo, and mustard!

8. What would she eat everyday if she could?

Paul: Steak.

Though I love me some steak, I have always been a fan of good ole chicken and salad--with ranch dressing of course!

9. What is her favorite cereal?

Paul: Cheerios. Gross!

True!  I love boring ole Cheerios.  I think they're great!

10. What should she never wear?

Paul: Tube top.

Though that is true, that is not what I had in mind.  Ever since Ugg Boots came out I said I would never wear them, and I have stayed true to my word.  They may be comfortable.. but they're too ugly to be on my feet!

11. What is her favorite sports team?

Paul: Denver Broncos.

I'm not as big of a fan of sports as I used to, but when I do watch something on TV, I'm watching my Denver Broncos.

12. What is something she does that you wish she didn't do?

Paul: Take my phone charger.

13. What is her heritage?

Paul: German/Jew.

I'm really a mutt.  Aren't we all?  But if you ask me, I'll tell you I'm a German/Jew first.  I find it rather comical.

14. You bake her a cake, what kind of cake?

Paul: Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate--with more chocolate.

True!  Most the time.. I'm thinking of chocolate.

15. Did she play sports in high school?

Paul: Not organized.

True.  I played family football and that's about it.

16. What could she spend hours doing?

Paul: Blogging.

So very, very true!  I'm addicted to blogging!

17. What is a unique talent that she has?

Paul: Touching her nose with her tongue

True!  Ha!  I think it weirds him out.. but I'm pretty proud of my talent.

18. What is her type of coffee?

Paul: Iced white chocolate caramel mocha.

So, so, so true..  I'm crazy about my coffee!
