Hairy situation

For those of you who don't know me...I go bald after having a baby.  It's awful!  It doesn't matter if I continue to take my prenatals and extra vitamins that specifically help hair growth or not --- my hair falls out.  In this picture below, you can kind of see how half of my bangs are gone.  They fell out.  Haha!  It's horrible!

So because my hair falls out, I get a new look.  I found a picture of what I wanted and showed my good friend, Keelie, and this is what I got!

I am so happy with how it turned out!  I love, love, love it!  One day I will have long hair again...until then I will rock the short hairstyles!

At the end of the day...Paul got his guitar out and played songs for the kids.  Some that he has written, and then the classics like Jesus Loves Me and The Itsy Bitsy Spider.  I loved watching him play with the kids!  No TV, no cell phones or computers, just family time.

In honor of THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING I will be making lemon cookies from scratch, the kids and I will go on a walk, and we may do a craft of some kind!  Happy Wednesday!

Gone.

For those who know my husband, he normally wears his hair longer.  Some don't like it, but I love Paul's lovely locks!  His hair is prettier than mine.  It literally looks like someone took glitter spray to his hair -- it's just beautiful!

I can tell that Zoe has been blessed with the same golden glitter.  Lucky pigs.

Well Paul has been wanting change for awhile.  He felt like it was time to have short hair again.  It took a little convincing on my part, but I finally gave in yesterday and told him to hurry up and do it!  So he did.  The hair is gone.  Paul is so handsome no matter what length his hair is!

Some joke that him and Max are now twins!  I would take a picture of them together to prove it, but Max still cries at the sight of the new 'do.  Maybe later!

Just a couple of baldies

What hair Zoe had at birth is slowly falling out and white blonde hair is growing in.  Though hair is growing in, she still looks bald at the moment!  She's adorable with or without hair.

Unlike Zoe, without hair I look like a freak..

Maybe not a freak, but certainly not adorable!

I've noticed that the past month or two I have been losing my hair. I didn't think much about since I've heard/read it's normal to lose hair after giving birth.  I continued to take my prenatal vitamins (I've missed a day or two here and there..) and figured I would eventually have new growth patches.

Well, I looked in the mirror today, and realized to my horror that I'm still losing hair.  I'm slowly receding more and more and it's getting more noticeable.

Ladies -- please leave me comments!!

  • How much hair did you lose after birth?
  • Was it noticeable?
  • Did you end up doing/using something to help your hair grow back?
Any and all information is much appreciated!  I'm trying not to freak out, but I'm a woman!  I'm not supposed to lose my hair -- especially at 21!  Ugh..
