{one} have you ever crawled through a window?
No, I was always the one on bottom pushing peeps into the windows! 

{two} what’s one subject that you wish you knew more about?
Math.. I guess.. since I stinked so badly in it! 

{three} who’s your favorite villain?
Hmm.. Urcula! Did I spell that right??

{four} have you ever hit a jackpot on a slot machine?
That would involve actually playing one, and I can't say that I've ever tried..

{five} what is your favorite disney movie?  
My top three faves are Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Robin Hood.  Lately Disney has made some great ones, but these classics still remain my all-time favorite.

{six} if the whole world were listening, what would you say?
Jesus loves you! Accept Him and spend an eternity in paradise!

{seven} if you could choose one song to describe you or your life, what would it be?
Hmm.. I have no clue!  Anyone have a suggestion?

{eight} your desk: messy or organized?
Depends on the day. I try to keep everything organized, but I'm not as amazing at it as I was back in the day.. before marriage and children.

{nine} have you ever had surgery?
No- thank you Jesus!

{ten} if you could have any animal as a pet, what would you have?
A puppy.  Call me boring!

A Wee Bit of Me Wednesday

{one} what is your happiest childhood memory?

There are too many to choose from!  I honestly had a wonderful childhood.  During the holidays we all would gather at Grandma and Papa's house and eat on the covered portion of the deck with the wood burning stove keeping us warm.  My family cooks for an army, and there was too much food to choose from.  Talk about eating leftovers for days!

During the summer Papa would grill steaks and we would eat out on the uncovered portion of the porch, and then us grandkids would race down the steps, through the "secret garden" under the deck where the hot tub was, to the swing set and trampoline.  After a long, hard day of playing I remember watching Shirley Temple movies in the basement..

Because my Papa is a pilot, and worked at an airport, I would spend lots of time out there with him and the pilots and "help" them with flight checks.  Papa would fly with us for hours it seemed.

I also remember living in Colorado Springs and having a blast with everyone that lived there.. our Christmas traditions were wonderful- inviting other families and the elderly that had no family close by and play games all day and late into night.

When I got a little older the youth of that day taught me how to sneak into a park in the middle of the night and hide from the cops when they drove by.

You probably didn't need to know that one..

Man.  Those were the days.

{two} what is your middle name?

Elizabeth.  Named after my great Grandma Babe.

{three} what’s the habit you’re most proud of breaking?

Biting my nails!  I think that's the only habit I've been able to break..

{four} what do you order when you order chinese food?

Mongolian Beef.  Super amazingly good!

{five} what’s the best bargain you’ve ever found at a garage sale or thrift store?

Oh boy..  I found two busts of Victorian women at a secondhand store that is my pride and joy.  I think I spent $4 on them total!

{six} what’s the best costume you’ve ever worn?

Dorothy.  Ha!

{seven} who’s your favorite game show host?

Pat Sajak.  Hands down.

{eight} what’s your favorite breakfast food?

Bacon and hash browns. Delish.  Or that casserole thing you can get at Cracker Barrel!

{nine} what’s your least favorite word?

Any kind of curse word drives me nuts.  They just show you have a lack of vocabulary.

{ten} describe something that happened to you for which you have no explanation.

Well.. my daughter just had an explosion an hour before church..  Hmm..

I snagged this from my friend, Megan, who just posted this today.  Since I have no Wordless Wednesday or much of an exciting post, I thought I would have this.  Enjoy!

{one} what was your first pet and how did you come up with it's name?

Actually, the first pet that I had was Snoopy. He was actually apart of the family before I was born, and after I came around he was my guard dog. He was very protective since day one of my life. Really sweet.

{two} do you like your ice crushed or cubed?

I am a huge fan of ice and I prefer crushed. It seemed like all I could think about, when pregnant, was I need to chew ice.. my glass is empty- I need more ice!

{three} do you believe in love at first sight?

I'm not sure..  I know that I knew my husband for 2 years and then one late night when my mom and I picked him up at the airport for Bible school it hit me, like a bolt of lightning, that I loved him.

{four} do you have any nicknames?

Mostly everyone calls me Gracie. I've had other nicknames throughout my life, but I don't remember them all. Too bad. I had some doozies!

{five} what movie do you never get tired of watching?

I would have to say The Princess Bride. Or a classic musical like Singing in the Rain.

{six} how do you like your eggs cooked?

I actually hate eggs. I can't eat them plain. I can eat them in things, though.

{seven} are you named after anyone in particular?

I am actually named after my great-great grandmother (Grace) and my great grandmother (Elizabeth) on my mother's side.

{eight} what are three things that you would like to do that you haven’t done yet?

I would love to live in Seattle for at least a short time in my life, I would love to make a whole Thai dinner all by myself and it be delicious, and thirdly, I would love to have the money to decorate my house exactly the way I want.. sigh..

{nine} what one thing always brightens your mood?Other than my family, coffee.. ♥

{ten} what five things will you always find in your purse?

1) cell phone, 2) chapstick/lip gloss, 3) hand sanitizer, 4) my planner, 5) hair ties.
